Assailed by Confusion

Cosmic Flower

When I painted this, the image just came through, as usual, and I saw it as representing all the peoples of the Earth, in petal form. Beautiful and all in an energy of union. Later, at a show, in the Napa Valley, many viewers told me that it looked like a flower that grows in Hawaii. I looked it up and it did.

This figure is experiencing a spiritual awakening. She is passing through a doorway that leads to new awareness.

A woman shows us what she is manifesting. Her thought forms are whirling about her head, incomplete desires as yet. She represents the self-confidence to bring into being our deepest desires.

Mustard Fields

In California, in the Napa Valley the mustard fields are intense in color and pattern. I could see myself flying over them, taking it all in. This piece is available as the original and in print form.

Prayers For The Ancesters

This was a mixed media piece consisting of canvas, plaster, beads and paint. There is a poem about it on the poetry page. It resides in California.

Remember Me

When I finished this piece, I burst into tears, and the words "Remember Me", appeared in my mind, and I cried more. I believe it is someone, perhaps a Native person of the Americas passing from the World. It is for someone else who will recognize the feelings.

A symbolic painting of the soul as a sacred vessel, open and receiving passion and a higher understanding.

Filling with strength. The vessel symbolizes the strength within all of us, and the openness to receive the higher energies of Love.

I painted this piece while living near a river. I would go and sit there and see what I called Shape Shifters, figures coming and going.

I have a real attraction to Ireland, and this image arose one day as I worked on a painting--she is the Celtic Healer of the Irish Miseries--was the original title. She is bringing love to the Isle.

A woman is rising upwards-diving- to retrieve and expand her consciousness.

The Prophet

The Prophet has the energies of the seer around his/her head. He is deep into his inner self, and the energy is becoming stronger the deeper that he goes.

The Undine

I am fascinated with the myths of Ireland and Scotland. The Undine represents a Scottish water spirit that is peering through the ocean spray, searching for a mate so that she can acquire a human soul.

The Watcher

While in Maine, near the deep woods one day, I saw this image in my mind. I believe that it is one of the original people of that area from ancient times.
Tsunami

About two weeks before the Dec. 2004 tsunami hit Banda Aceh, Thailand, and Indonesia, I painted this, not really knowing why I had chosen this subject.
